The Empire Canyon/Flagstaff area is located at the Deer Valley Resort. 
Empire Pass is a master-planned, ski-in/ski-out community at Deer Valley comprised of approximately 1,600 acres on the slopes of Flagstaff Mountain and Empire Canyon. Empire Pass will eventually include approximately 525 residences and club facilities. The Master Developer for all of Empire Pass is Talisker, which purchased United Park City Mine Company in the summer of 2003. Less than 10 percent of the 1,600 acres will be developed.
The Village at Empire Pass is planned to eventually include approximately 300 residences including single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and club facilities. Approximately 90 percent of the homes in The Village will be ski-in/ski-out and serviced by Deer Valley's new Silver Strike Express high-speed quad chairlift.
The Empire Pass area is where most new construction is taking place at Deer Valley with an average cost of $1,441 per square foot. Empire Pass at Deer Valley is the competition for Vail, Aspen and other high end North American ski resorts and is considered a value when compared to Vail and Aspen.
Single Family home developments in Empire Canyon/Flagstaff include Nakoma, Northside Village, Chrstopher Homes and Paintbrush.
