Happiest State in America: Utah

 

WalletHub released its annual “Happiest States in America” report, showing that Utah is the happiest state in the United States.

All 50 states were measured across 30 metrics, like depression rates, productivity, income growth, unemployment rates, sports participation rates, work environment and sleep rate. Upon analyzing the data, WalletHub revealed that Utah came out as the happiest state overall. Of notable mention was Utah’s remarkable volunteer rate, standing at an impressive 40.7 percent, surpassing Florida, the state with the lowest volunteer rate, by a striking 2.6-fold margin. Promontory Club Golf Courses

Take a tour of the Nicklaus and Dye golf courses at Promontory Ranch Club, a private community in Park City, Utah. The Dye and Nicklaus courses are ranked #2 and #3 in Utah, respectively by Golf Digest. Both courses have their own practice facilities and driving ranges.

Victory Ranch Golf Club, the Rees Jones designed championship golf course, located in Kamas, Utah has announced that the course opened for member play on August 8th.

Promontory Club Emerges From Bankruptcy - Successful Bidder is Affiliate of Original Developer

PARK CITY, Utah (April 17, 2009) – The U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Utah, today confirmed Pivotal 7000, LLC, an affiliate of Promontory’s original developer, Pivotal Group, as the winner of the recent auction of Promontory, a luxury second-home community in Park City, Utah.   Bankruptcy Judge Judith A. Boulden named Pivotal’s bid as the winner, finding it to be in the best interests of Promontory and its members and creditors.
